5 top-grossing flicks on Iran silver screen for this week with 1 newcomer

Latest ranking for top-grossing films on Iran silver screen has been released this week with ‘Lovelance’ joining top five for debut week.

The new comer directed by Seyyed Mohsen Mahini sat among the highest-grossing films till Thursday in its opening week in cinemas across the country.  

 ‘Lovelance’ gained the fourth spot by taking in 2,092,220,000 rials, overriding ‘Bridge of Sleep’ directed by Oktay Baraheni which ended up fifth.

Mahini’s new offering costars Akbar Abdi, Ali Sadeghi, Laya Zanganeh, Fariba Motekhasses, Sahar Qoreishi, Fariba Kowsari, Ali Sadeghi, Bahareh Afshari and Changiz Vosoughi.

The film revolves around how a worldly love can turn to a heavenly love.

‘Wing Mirror’ by Manouchehr Hadi also gave V for victory at Iran domestic box office just as the most recent weeks.
